This is a magnificent temple complex constructed in the 13th century during the reign of the Yadava dynasty. However, Aundha Nagnath, like many other Jyotirlinga temples, was damaged by Aurangzeb. After the demolition of this temple, the complex was reconstructed by Holker Queen Ahilyabai.
