Personal Experience

I pick a train from New delhi to chandigarh. So, I reached there in night. As I had booking in hotel which was near to sukhna lake, I pick-up a taxi to hotel- Holiday Home. My experience at this hotel was good because it is a budget hotel with very clean rooms. This is located at a nice location. So, It was convenient to reach all the tourist places because my hotel in city center.

Best Places to Visit in India

In morning I visited local market and sukhna lake, which is a beautiful lake. Then, In evening, I booked a cab and headed to Rock garden. It took around 15 minutes to reach here.

Things to Know Before visiting Rock Garden at Chandigarh

  • Timings- 9 am to 6 pm
  • Ticket- 30 rupees for Indian tourists
  • Best time to visit- Morning or Evening
  • Location- Rock garden is 10 kilometers away from Railway station, which is near to sukhna lake.

If you visit this city, spend atleast 3 days to explore all the most popular destinations. These are sukhna lake, rock garden and local markets. If you are a foodie like me, street food of chandigarh is really very delicious.
