Achalgarh Fort is located on a hilltop, hence it is not accessible by vehicles; however, there are many offroad engines that drop the tourists at a distance of about 500 meters from the summit.

The path to the top is filled with stalls, and you will be frequently distracted by shopkeepers selling unique things. There are also many gateways leading into temples (both Jain and Hindu) on this path, and they serve as popular pilgrimage sites. As you reach the top, you will be amazed to see an artificial lake.
