 Gulab Bagh Udaipur was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh in 1881. So, it is also famous as Sajjan Niwas Garden. It is expanded in over 100 acres of land area. Later, this garden became popular because of nature shows. Further, A Museum was constructed in this garden, which was named as Victoria Museum. It was the first museum of Rajasthan. However, it was then shifted to the City Palace of Udaipur.
