History of Amber Fort Jaipur
Amber Fort Jaipur was built in the 16th century. This fort has seen many rulers of the Rajput dynasty over time. It was built by rulers of the Kachawaha dynasty including Sawai Man Singh and others.
By the presence of Amba Mata temple, this town was popular as Ambikeshwar, which is now famous as Amer or amber. Amer is about 12 kilometers from Jaipur city.
