A Visit To Nehru Garden In Jaipur Rajasthan

Nehru garden is located in Jaipur. This is one of the largest parks of Jaipur. The greeneries and gym in this garden make it attractive. Such atmosphere gives calm and peace. Those ducks, colorful fountains, and toy train at this garden is pleasing.

I wake up and get ready to visit this garden. I was about 6 AM. After a few footsteps, I reached here. It has two entry gates. A jogging track and also a sand track for runners. It’s one round is about 800 meters. There is a gym with equipment for different kind of exercises. It’s crowded a bit on holidays and Sundays. As it’s in the middle of the city, so not all the visitors are here for morning walks or evening walks, some also come here to study or picnic. No doubt it’s a good place to read a book.

After some physical exercise’s like stretching and warm-ups, I tried yoga. Yoga gives internal peace. In early mornings, yoga some groups organize yoga and meditation classes here in this garden. It’s better to learn it before doing yoga. I learned it on TV and online videos. After that, I headed to the gym which is a public gym free of cost. It’s a good approach by the government to provide such public health-related gym’s. I tried some exercises for about 20 minutes.

When I was doing yoga, two persons sitting next to me were discussing some stories. Those stories were distracting me to concentrate on yoga, as those stories were interesting. Then I asked them what they were doing. Then one of them replied that they are theater artists preparing for a play, and told me about the location of their theater. Then I move on.

Many couples come here, almost every time from morning to evening. It’s good to visit in mornings and evenings too. In the morning, meditation and yoga can be good things to do, while in evenings, fountains and street food outside of this park. There is a pond in this garden where you can see the ducks and some other birds too. This is an artificial pond. Fishes can be seen here as the water is being filtered every day. Kids enjoy near this pond, as there are some cages with some white and grey colored ducks.

There are more than 100 species of birds to be found at this park, But I don’t remember the name of birds to be found here. Along with the wide species of birds, there are many kinds of plants and trees with unique and beautiful flowers.

If you want to spend some time in calm and peace even in a metro city then a garden is the best place. I also appreciate the authorities who made it a better place. Peoples should also take care of the cleanliness every time they visit such places.

This is an agropark which is built in an old way. It’s best place for fun and adventure in Indore. Activities like climbing on a rope, monkey ride and some other amusements. These physical activities make it an adventurous place. Even kids also like spending time here in this park, as there are many activities for all age groups.

Rajwada In Indore

Rajwada is a royal palace in Indore. It shows the living standard of rulers of Indore. This place was ruled by Holkar rulers then this region was occupied by Britishers. As the name “Rajwada” means “a palace of royal rulers”,  this was a palace of rulers. Now it’s a museum with all those memories of rulers and shows their historical presence.

After riding the bike for about half an hour through a crowded market, I reached Rajwada. I took a ticket which was about 10 rs. I headed in. A garden in front surrounded by the pillar and some paintings. In the left side, there is a temple which is a very old temple known as malhar temple.

Now it comes time to go upstairs. A museum with antiques, and paintings in front of me. I can see some statues, paintings, and other unique antiques. Statue of Natraj and some former rulers are attractive here. These are enclosed in glass to provide protection.

Rajwada was built by Marathas of Holkar rulers. This is a seven-storey building in the middle of the city. this was a 200-year-old palace built about 1747 AD, but was burnt during the 1984 riots. It was then rebuilt and designed by H.H. Usha Raje Holkar based on old design and structure.

There are palaquins and also some vintage antiques like shields, armor and many more. All of these things are unique here. Except for all these, rifles and some other weapons are no doubt interesting. The good thing is that the camera is allowed here. It took about 20 minutes to see all of this here.

This place is near to the city center. It takes about half an hour to visit this. Visiting this palace in the morning or evening is fine. This is one of the best places to visit in Indore as it shows rich history and heritage. Although there are many things to do in Indore like parks and markets.

Visiting Mahakaleshwar Temple In Ujjain

Ujjain is famous for Mahakal temple. This is among Jyotirlinga of lord shiva. Ujjain is located in Madhya Pradesh. It’s about 50 kilometers from Indore which is a major city of this state. Mahakal is a temple situated on side of Rudra Sagar lake. This is among twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Ujjain is known for mahakaleshwar temple.

After riding the bike for an hour we reached Ujjain. Though the highway is fine it was tiring. Using maps we reached mahakal temple. As it was a Tuesday, the crowd was not much. Then we headed to the temple.

Singhhasth Kumbh was also organized here. This is a popular place for those who believe in lord Shiva. I am impressed by the proper arrangements in this temple. The path is arranged in a way that crowd can be maintained even in high rush time. Many peoples come here to pray god on occasion of Mahashivratri.

The shivling covered with a glass box is Jyotirlinga. Devotees can give milk and Prasad(food offered to god). There is a separate place where milk can be poured to that shivling. As this is not allowed to go inside the chamber of a jyotirlinga, you can only see it from a distance. Then after waiting for a few minutes, we pray to god and move on. This temple is very well organized and maintained by authorities.

Tilak with Om looks very good. I like it. This mahakal temple is also famous for “Bhang” which you can get near to this temple. It’s intoxicated to try this. We took half-doze in two glasses. This is allowed in Hindu religion but in a controlled manner. It is considered as Prasad of lord shiv But I don’t suggest as it affects the body after an hour. Make sure about your safety if thinking to try this.
Tip- Take this on your own risk. Bhang is actually made of herbs which is intoxicated.

(Pictures not allowed)

This is a very good place. Mahakal means lord shiv who is the king of this universe. This is a common saying that No king stayed a night in Ujjain because Lord shiv (Mahakal) is the only King. In case, if he stays the night here then he can’t wake-up next morning. All Jyotirlinga has a specific name. This one is called as Mahakaleshwar. There is also another temple here which is Nagchandreshwar temple which only opens on the day of Nagpanchmi.

Why Indore Is So Clean | Cleanest City Of India

Cleanliness in Indore is so good and impressive. Roads are clean without any waste or garbage. No wastage is thrown on streets and sideways. It shows India is growing and changing. Thats why Indore is the cleanest city of India.

Indore City View

Most of the metro cities are facing the problem of cleanliness. However some are so clean. Increasing population, lack of awareness and corrupt system is reason of this condition. Peoples blame government and government blame peoples for their unawareness. This problem can only be solved if both peoples and government work together.

For making a city clean, proper planning is really necessary. It can not be done without planning. As a government, they can appoint employees for cleanliness and they can make some special departments for it. Awareness of cleanliness is to be initiated by government. As a citizen, peoples should be aware and make sure about cleanliness in their city and places they visit. They can also aware others by social media and other options.

A garden in city

Here in Indore, both government and peoples are working together. That’t the only reason behind it’s cleanliness. No doubt some exceptions are present everywhere, But most of the peoples are aware about cleanliness.

Indore is ranked on top position in Cleanliness second time. Some politicians also worked for this cleanliness by “cleanliness projects”. This is known as “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan”. No other government worked before for cleanliness. There are many peoples who worked for this cleanliness. I am thankful to everyone who worked for it.

Even the walls in sideways of road have beautiful paintings and slogans of cleanliness. It’s part of awareness by authorities which is praiseworthy. Proper collection of garbage is also done everyday in which separate wet and dry wastage is collected by these department. Recycle process is also necessary after it’s collection. Trash and garbage bins are placed everywhere in the city. Public utilities are also placed at certain distances.

Night view of Indore from a hill

Other than Indore, Chandigarh is also a clean city of India. This is also well planned and beautiful city of India. Link-  Indore is a city which was established with proper planning. Roads are wide and, market is well arranged and peoples are so nice. There are many places to visit in this city.

A temple in Indore- Annapurna temple

What do you think about this cleanliness of Indore? How can we improve and aware peoples about cleanliness? You can share anything freely. thanks
